The PCA9544ARGYR is a high-speed I2C-bus controlled 4-channel multiplexer for I2C-bus and SMBus applications. It enables system designers to increase the number of I2C-bus devices that can be controlled by a single master. The device consists of an input port, with four channels that can be individually enabled or disabled via the I2C-bus. The user can also preset the logic level of the PCA9544ARGYR’s output port to a known state so that the channels remain in the same state even when the I2C-bus is inactive. The PCA9544ARGYR operates over the -40 degree Celsius to +85 degree Celsius temperature range. The device is also compliant with the I2C Fast-mode interface standard, enabling high-speed data transfers. With its compact size and high-speed operation, the PCA9544ARGYR is an ideal solution for applications requiring multiple I2C-bus devices to be controlled by a single master.
